Conceived by Rebar arts collective and with help from the Trust for Public Land, PARK(ing) Day is an annual transformation of parking spots into temporary public parks. PGA staff recycled cardboard tubes, grocery bags, pencil toppers, and a retired wading pool to create our very own “Zen Park” amidst the bustle of downtown Oakland. |
